  2. I love these but they always end up way too small and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I used a 4.25mm hook with Vianna's choice yarn and that ended up being only two inches long. I then used an H hook with the same yarn and is only about 3 inches. Can you steer me in the right direction?

    1. I'm sure it is because of the yarn. You should use worsted weight (preferably red heart) If that's not it comment. :)) Happy to help!

    2. It sounds like you crochet really tight. You make your stitches very tight. I would suggest trying to make your stitches a bit looser. Both Red Heart and Vanna's are worsted weight's, so I don't think that is the problem.

    3. It might actually be your hooks some people have British hooks some people have Canadian hooks some people have
American hooks it can can become quite confusing especially when you get the a b c d e f g hooks thank you ebay!!!!!! if you go onto the internet you should be able to get a hook conversion chart it might be worth investing in a hook measurer guide if you get a bit confused with it all like I did when I first started I would pop into your local yarn shop I really hope this helps

  4. Hi I have just made these for my 10 month old and they are gorgeous. Do you have a pattern or could you help me with a pattern for my older daughter she needs the 9 inchs. I was thinking I could just double the pattern and add 4 single crochets to each row ???? Any thoughts
